This hands-on leadership role requires expertise in search engine marketing campaigns. The scale we offer requires putting your thoughts into further automation, making processes even neater and faster. This role is critical in driving growth and positioning the company as a leader in its space by ensuring that our marketing efforts are scalable, innovative, and aligned with our mission to deliver value to our customers.
What you will do:
- Lead, mentor and grow a lean, high-performing marketing team while also remaining hands-on to kickstart initiatives, troubleshoot challenges, and drive innovation.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive SEM strategy to achieve business objectives.
- Oversee the setup, management, and optimization of large-scale Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, and other paid search campaigns.
- Manage millions of keywords effectively, using automation tools and scripts to streamline processes.
- Conduct A/B tests for ad copy, landing pages, and bidding strategies to drive continuous improvement.
- Utilize marketing technology and data analytics to optimize campaign performance.
- Leverage advanced tools and platforms like Google Ads Editor, SA360, scripts, and bid management to manage campaigns efficiently.
- Explore and implement AI-driven solutions to enhance campaign performance.
The team:
You'll be leading the SEM team, which consists of marketing and data analysts, and closely collaborating with the Brand and Product teams.
Who you are:
- You have 5+ years of experience in senior marketing roles, preferably in travel - using data to drive strategy and business & marketing decisions.
- You have a proven track record of profitably scaling paid acquisition campaigns across multiple channels and geographies, owning significant marketing budgets.
- You are an expert in Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, and other PPC platforms.
- You have expertise in leveraging analytics tools to measure campaign effectiveness, optimize performance, and drive growth.
- You are an active, curious, innovative person with can-do attitude and growth mindset.
- You have a background in technology, or data-driven decision-making to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and leverage data & technology for marketing optimization and automation
- You are detail-oriented, thorough, and precise.
- You have strong analytical skills, enabling you to dive deep into the data to guide strategy or prioritization decisions.
- You are fluent in English.
- Experience in startup/fast-paced environments is a plus.
- You are comfortable using SQL and BI Tools (Looker)
