We are looking for a skilled Support Engineer to join our team, providing L2/L3 support for complex data integration and streaming applications. This role requires deep technical knowledge of Informatica PowerCenter, Java, and Apache Kafka, as well as a proactive approach to ensuring stability and performance across systems. You'll collaborate with development, DevOps, and infrastructure teams to troubleshoot issues, optimize workflows, and ensure seamless end-to-end operations.

Responsibilities:
- Provide Level 2 and 3 support for data and backend systems using Informatica, Java, and Kafka.
- Troubleshoot and resolve ETL job failures, Kafka streaming issues, and Java-based application errors.
- Monitor and maintain Kafka clusters, ensuring optimal performance and uptime.
- Debug and optimize Informatica PowerCenter workflows and performance.
- Participate in incident management, root cause analysis, and the handling of change requests.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support smooth, reliable system operations.
- Ensure high availability, scalability, and security across data pipelines and streaming services
Required Skills:
- Strong expertise in Informatica PowerCenter: ETL development, workflow debugging, and optimization.
- Proficiency in Java, especially for backend application support and debugging.
- Solid hands-on experience with Apache Kafka, including topic creation, performance tuning, and monitoring.
- Good understanding of SQL and database optimization (Oracle, SQL Server, etc.).
- Familiarity with Linux/Unix commands and scripting using Shell or Python.
- Experience with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or Splunk.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, especially in production environments.
