We are seeking a skilled Platform Support Engineer with strong knowledge in various

technologies and excellent troubleshooting skills. The ideal candidate will have experience with

messaging technologies, metric technologies, and Kubernetes, as well as a solid understanding

of PostgreSQL.

Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot, perform root-cause analysis, and debug issues.
  • Manage and administer Kubernetes environments, with RKE2 preferred but not required.
  • Provide developer or admin-level support, not just remote usage via Cloud.
  • Triage Kubernetes-based issues, including logs (both container and host-level) and metrics.
  • Utilize case-management tooling such as ServiceNow.

Required Skills:

  • Strong proficiency in troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and debugging.
  • Deep Kubernetes experience, with RKE2 preferred but not required.
  • Experience in triaging Kubernetes-based issues, including logs and metrics.
  • Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL.
  • Knowledge of messaging technologies like Kafka and JMS.
  • Familiarity with metric technologies like Prometheus and Grafana.
  • Knowledge of the EFK Stack.
  • Experience with service discovery/mesh such as Istio.
