About the Role

As a Workflow Automation Specialist in Zapier, you will lead the effort to automate and integrate CitizenGOโ€™s internal workflows across departments and platforms. Youโ€™ll play a critical role in eliminating inefficiencies, improving inter-tool communication, and ensuring our internal systems work together in harmony to better serve our mission.

What You'll Do

  • You will develop and manage workflows and automations across our core business platforms, leveraging Zapier to streamline operations and enhance data integration.
  • You will design, build, and maintain custom automation and workflows in Zapier to enhance interconnectivity between different business tools.
  • You will monitor performance of the workflows, troubleshoot issues, and ensure compliance with security practices.
  • You will collaborate closely with other departments to understand their needs and deliver solutions that support our goals.
  • You will ensure optimal productivity and oversee the workflow implementation and upkeep of project management and communication tools like Asana and Google Chat.
  • You will share knowledge through detailed documentation.

Who you are

  • You have at least a B2-level proficiency in English. (Duolingo English Test required for non-natives, minimum score of 100). Spanish and other languages are a plus.
  • You have at least 2 yearsโ€™ experience with Zapier.
  • You have solid technical skills and are comfortable using Zapierโ€™s advanced features, including Webhooks, Code by Zapier (JavaScript), custom API calls, and structured data (JSON, arrays, nested fields). You can design logic-driven automations that go beyond basic triggers and actions, and you're able to extend Zapierโ€™s capabilities by calling external Python functions or services via Webhooks when complex processing or custom logic is required.
  • You bring expertise in creating automated solutions and integrations between different business systems and tools.
  • You have a solid understanding of API management for seamless integration and automation.
  • You are familiar with Google Chat and project management tools like Asana.
  • You have experience integrating tools like GPT-4 or other LLMs into workflows.
  • You are tech-savvy and eager to learn new platforms and technologies.
  • You can manage your time independently and work across departments with minimal supervision.
  • You communicate well with both technical and non-technical teammates.
  • You have excellent documentation habits and are comfortable building Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
