Our ideal candidate will be a highly analytical business development and partner management expert with a foundational technical understanding. An expert that closely follows accommodation distribution and pricing trends, nurtures and grows our relationships with our existing supply partners as well as finds new supply partners that will complement our existing portfolio.
Reporting into our Head of Partnerships and collaborating closely with our analysts, product, marketing and engineering teams, you will fine tune our product offering based on market input and needs, whilst sharing insights with our team which are gathered from your external communications with our partners.
As a Senior Partnerships Manager (Supply) you have a unique opportunity to make great impact on the further growth and success of Vio.com.
What you will do:
- You will own relationships across a defined set of key supply partners - optimising and nurturing these to allow unlocking key growth opportunities, then implement these across the Vio.com platform (and beyond).
- Analyse the supply market and acquire new partners for Vio.com - your curiosity will bring you to many different demand channels to uncover best rates and, more importantly, figure out how to bring these to Vio.com
- Collaborate closely with analysts, product, marketing, and engineering teams, finance, and customer service to launch and optimize our partner-first integrations.
Some of the challenges for the supply team in the coming quarters:
- Maintain a full pipeline of high-quality integration targets within the accommodation supply market, prioritized by business impact, and work closely together with our integrations team to ensure timely go-to-market.
- Continue to grow our relationships with our existing suppliers in order to uncover the best available rates that arenβt being widely distributed elsewhere and bring those to our Vio.com customers.
- Build out frameworks for the continuous optimization of our partners to ensure the highest levels of commercial and operational excellence
Who you are:
- You have at least 7+ years of proven experience in business development and partnership management within the online travel space - you have a proven record of growing a business by creating real value for partners.
- Excellent knowledge of the accommodation market and the travel industry. You understand how pricing and supply influences user decisions and demand in the travel market.
- Excellent communication and networking skills, ability to quickly gain trust from partners, team members and management.
- Highly analytical and data driven, able to make decisions based on facts.
- Strong prioritisation with a result-driven attitude - you are able to handle multiple responsibilities at the same time and do whatever it takes to grow the business and succeed in a start-up environment.
- Good understanding of accommodation distribution technology, not afraid to have technical conversations with relevant stakeholders and partners
- A drive to understand the business, strategy and requirements to further drive Vio.com growth.
- Curiosity - if you see a competitor in the market with a better rate you want to find out where itβs coming from & how we can get access
- Experience working in an international environment, preferably in a (remote-friendly) start/scale-up.
- Bonus points if you have a strong network with suppliers within the industry
