We are looking for a Solution Architect (Application Integration) with strong automotive experience to oversee the application-level aspects of enterprise integration initiatives led by a third-party supplier. This role is focused on the design and governance of application interactions and APIs supporting automotive and manufacturing systems, such as SAP, MES, EWM, PLM and related platforms. You will work closely with stakeholders across IT, production, and external vendors to translate business requirements into integrated architecture and ensure that solutions are aligned with enterprise standards and manufacturing-specific workflows.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the application architecture lead across integration streams supporting automotive operations, including End-of-Line testing, traceability, and real-time data exchange;
  • Translate manufacturing business requirements into high-level integration use cases and application interaction patterns;
  • Review solution proposals to ensure alignment with application standards, data flow requirements, and manufacturing process constraints;
  • Coordinate with application owners and suppliers to track issues, requirements, and delivery milestones;
  • Lead and participate in technical workshops, steering committees, and system validation reviews;
  • Identify and mitigate risks and dependencies related to architecture in automotive and manufacturing environments;
  • Ensure documentation of interface designs, business rules, and error-handling mechanisms specific to production systems.


Qualifications:

  • 6+ years in application or integration architecture, preferably in manufacturing or automotive environments;
  • Proven experience with MES, EWM, PLM, and SAP interfaces;
  • Strong understanding of enterprise integration patterns and data synchronisation in production systems;
  • Strong skills in collaboration tools for managing projects and technical documentation;
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities, especially in manufacturing and operations teams.


Tech Stack:

  • SAP MES, EWM, PLM (Siemens or SAP);
  • IDoc, RFC, REST API, OData, JSON, XML;
  • Azure DevOps, Postman, Swagger/OpenAPI;
  • SQL, Git.
